Payment Processors - Payment Acceptance

PCS now supports 3 payment processors:

  • Mercury Payment Systems
  • Authorize.net
  • WorldPay (Formerly RBS World Pay)

Important! Please call us when you are ready to go live with any payment processor We will confirm your account by running test transactions.

Mercury Payment Systems (MPS)

Our preferred provider is Mercury Payment Systems. We are directly integrated with MPS to provide you with the most features and most seamless integration. MPS acts as both the Merchant Account Provider and the Payment Gateway reducing double fees for credit card transactions and consolidating your contact points.

If you would like to get setup with MPS please call 800.846.4472 ext: 4914

We will be automatically notified by MPS when your account is setup. We will then call you and complete the setup in the software

Authorize.Net

"Authorize.Net enables merchants to authorize, settle and manage credit card and electronic check transactions via Web sites, retail stores, mail order/telephone order (MOTO) call centers and mobile devices." Quote from Authorize.net

  • Setting up an Authorize.net account will allow credit card deposit payments to be made instantaneously from the online booking software
  • POS credit card transactions can be run from your POS terminal without a standalone credit card machine

How do I sign up? Call your Merchant Account Provider and have the set you up with an Authorize.net account. PCS supports both Card Present and Ecommerce (Card Not Present) Accounts.

After you are signed up :

  • They will send you and email with an activation link for Authorize.Net. Complete the registration process.
  • Select Account
  • Scroll down the Account page to API and Transaction key. This will automatically generate an API and Serial Key.

Call us with this information and we will help you input and test the accounts.

World Pay

For international customers we support World Pay (formerly RBS World Pay). This support is limited to the Online Booking Module. Please contact your financial institution or World Pay to setup an e-commerce Business Gateway.

Important Security Settings

This is only for PCS users that use the POS portion of the software.

Witha any payment processor your employees will be able to process Live payments as well as record payments.

It is CRITICAL that you give your employees permissions to do this. If you do not set their permissions the payments that they take will only be recorded and not charged. In the software anytime you input only 4 numbers of a credit card the card WILL NOT be charged. For live payments ALL numbers of the credit card must be showing on the screen. To give you employees permission to process live payments.

  • From the Admin Screen Select Manage Users
  • Select the User Name
  • Select the Check Box next to "Live Payment Processing" on the right side of the screen
  • Save Changes

This needs to be done for each employee that is taking live payments!
